Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop microservices-based architectures with a focus on scalability, resilience, and performance.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs; ensure secure data handling and authentication mechanisms.
- Collaborate with front-end and product teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Monitor and optimize production systems; troubleshoot issues and implement lasting improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and REST APIs.
- Experience with SQL databases and data modeling; knowledge of NoSQL is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
