Electronics Engineer (Graduate Engineer Trainee) – BEL Pune
Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a premier Indian public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, invites applications for the position of Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) in Electronics & Communication and Electrical streams for BEL’s Pune facility. This is a training-driven opportunity designed to groom talented engineers for BEL’s advanced electronics programs. Successful trainees may be absorbed into BEL as full-time engineers based on performance, organizational needs, and prevailing policies.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of analog and digital electronic circuits and embedded systems used in defense and aerospace programs.
- Contribute to schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit simulations using industry-standard tools.
- Participate in hardware-software co-verification, prototype testing, and debugging of firmware issues.
- Prepare test plans, validation protocols, and maintain quality documentation as per BEL standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and internal customers to ensure timely project delivery.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational qualification: BE/BTech in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering from AICTE/UGC recognized institutes.
Experience: 0-2 years in electronics design, testing, or related internship/project work. Fresh graduates who have completed relevant final-year projects are welcome to apply.
Skills: strong fundamentals in analog and digital electronics, microcontrollers, signal processing basics, PCB design, basic programming (C/C++, Python), MATLAB/Simulink, and documentation skills. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively is essential.
Compensation and Benefits
The selected GETs receive a stipend during the training period and will be considered for absorption into BEL as per prevailing BEL policies and government guidelines.
