Senior Software Engineer – Java & Cloud

Infosys Limited invites applications for a Senior Software Engineer – Java & Cloud to join our Bengaluru campus. The role focuses on designing and delivering scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and modern cloud practices. You will work in an agile environment with cross-functional teams, partnering with product managers, architects, and quality engineers to ensure robust, secure, and performant software releases.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based microservices with clean, scalable APIs.
Collaborate with architects to implement cloud-native solutions on AWS or Azure.
Contribute to building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with emphasis on automation and quality gates.
Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and enforce coding standards.
Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and security; monitor production systems and resolve incidents efficiently.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
3-8 years of hands-on software development experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, with proficiency in SQL.
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Familiarity with agile methodologies, test-driven development, and modern tooling (JIRA, Git).
