Role: Senior Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking

Overview: The Corporate Banking division at ICICI Bank is seeking a seasoned Senior Relationship Manager to lead strategic relationships with mid-to-large corporate clients. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end relationship management, credit coordination, risk assessment, and cross-sell of banking solutions including cash management, trade finance, and working capital facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute client coverage plans for a portfolio of corporate clients with annual turnover typically above $50 million.
- Lead credit proposal discussions with credit teams, ensuring timely and compliant evaluation of risk and collateral.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and product structuring to optimize profitability while meeting client needs.
- Collaborate with product partners to cross-sell cash management, trade finance, BP and working capital solutions.
- Monitor portfolio risk, ensure KYC/AML compliance, and maintain high standards of governance.
- Mentor and coach junior RM staff, and collaborate with relationship support teams for seamless client experience.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Commerce; MBA in Finance or related field preferred.
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in corporate banking or relationship management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial statement analysis and credit assessment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and banking systems.
