Senior Software Engineer – Java Backend
Infosys Limited invites applications for a Senior Software Engineer position at our Pune campus. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based backend services using Spring Boot and modern frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers, front-end teams, QA, and cloud engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Implement RESTful APIs, integrate with relational and NoSQL databases, and ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Contribute to migration and modernization efforts, including cloud deployments (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Support production incidents, performance tuning, and optimization of existing systems.
- Mentor junior developers, foster knowledge sharing, and contribute to a healthy engineering culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of software development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, SQL databases, and modern cloud concepts.
- Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to work across time zones and with cross-functional teams.
