Role overview: As a Graduate Engineer Trainee, you will undergo a structured training program designed to build core competencies in electrical systems used in aircraft programs. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers in project teams, participate in design reviews, assist with testing and validation, and contribute to documentation and compliance work. This program aims to develop technical acumen as well as professional skills essential for a long term career in aerospace engineering.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, validation, and testing of electrical power systems and associated electronics for aircraft programs.
- Participate in system integration activities, bench and lab testing, and verification of components and subsystems.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test reports, SOPs, and configuration records in accordance with quality standards.
- Support project teams in risk assessment, safety and quality compliance, and issue resolution during development cycles.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to learn processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- BE or BTech in Electrical Engineering or allied streams with minimum 60 percent marks (aggregate).
- 0-2 years of relevant experience or internship exposure; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Knowledge of electrical design tools, basic power electronics, instrumentation, and MATLAB or equivalent tools.
- Strong analytical ability, good communication, teamwork, and adherence to project timelines.
Benefits and Compensation
Selected candidates will receive a competitive compensation package in the range of INR 9 Lakh to INR 12 Lakh per year, including allowances as per HAL policy.
